Map Love

I may or may not have a small obsession with maps…and I know I’m not the only one. does such a great job finding unique and interesting items and while browsing their site earlier I found the most beautiful, well crafted maps by Karen O’Leary. If you are looking for another item to adorn your wall, or are also a map lover, check out her work and see if your city is listed!

Yes Please…

Starting this blog, I wasn’t entirely sure exactly which parts I was going to find enjoyable and which parts I wouldn’t  (not yet having customizable code being a more frustrating aspect, something I plan to upgrade to in the near future).

One thing I did not anticipate was how much I enjoy finding the time to create small compositions just for fun, and not for a client. And yes, of course, I don’t mind living in a dream world occasionally and acting like I could accessorize my life with all of these beautiful items.

Happy friday everyone! I can’t help but to elaborate on my last post about how much I love fall…last year, I was served the Dogfish Head Punkin Ale with a brown sugar rim, it adds such a nice flavor to each sip. This is a great seasonal a beer that would be a shame not to enjoy during this weather. Make this a must have this fall!

Hello World!

To kick off my first blog post, I thought I’d share some work by Jessica Hische. Not only has she pioneered her own niche in design, but she also has become a great resource for new designers. Her work is nothing short of inspiring.

I originally thought I’d pre-plan the voice, content, and style of my blog…however I’ve quickly realized I’ve never been a planner and I’d never get to that first post if I continued to wait for an outline. So, I hope you will join me on this adventure…I’ll attempt to make it worth your time!
